Osteopathy - Treating the causes not just the symptoms
Osteopathy is a regulated and recognised approach to healthcare used across the globe. Osteopaths work within the NHS and private practice in a similar fashion to physiotherapy, but with it’s own unique but effective approach.
The causes of pain and injury need to be explored throughout the body rather than where the pain is located. Our Experienced Osteopaths have an excellent understanding of the body’s various systems to ensure our diagnosis and treatment is accurate and effective. We are trained in assessing and examining:
What do Osteopaths do?
Osteopaths have a collection of skills that allow us to assess, diagnose and treat a range of pains and injuries throughout the body. Our approach is familiar in that we take a thorough case history; exploring your problem and screening for any other conditions they may need support from your GP or other health professionals. Once complete, we then assess the area of pain but also look further around the body exploring tissue and joint mobility, muscles strength and patterns of movement that have developed to suit what we do in our daily lives. After this has been completed we take the time to discussion the diagnosis and explain what has led to this issue. This is key for ensuring we can work with you to create the ideal treatment plan that matches your needs.
Our team has great connections to GPs and other healthcare professional in the local area to ensure any issues beyond our support are managed quickly and professionally.
Can osteopathy help you?
Osteopathy can help in many ways for a range of conditions. Primarily people come to see use with pain at a joint, in a muscle, ligament or other body part. People rarely say, “I think my back is at risk of injury” (it can happen though). We ensure that during your support with us not only do you understand the diagnosis, you know how it is being caused and how long the recovery should take.

Kieran has helped me recover through climbing and running related injuries and each time provides a clear, methodical approach to recovery. Very supportive and knowledgeable!Braydan Barrett

I had ongoing issues with finger pain stemming from climbing too hard and Kieran had been highly recommended from many people. Starting with the initial consultation, he was able to pinpoint the source of my pain and with a mutually agreed rehabilitation plan, encouraged and supported me in achieving outstanding results. This was all carried out in a safe and professional manner at Vauxwall East clinic. Although I'm sure i could have found an excellent osteopath much nearer to where I live, I am convinced they would not be as knowledgeable as Kieran for my specific ailments and as such would not hesitate to recommend him for any climbing related injuries.Oliver Blatch

Kieran is a great attentive practitioner who has helped a great deal with a long standing neck issue and more recently knee pain. He spends a lot of time going over all issues you have in trying to understand and then prescribe suitable course of action along with links to videos that help demonstrate exercise techniques as part of a rehabilitation plan. I have found a lot of relief following a first time visit to see an Osteopath, and hopefully, no discredit to Kieran, don't have to visit again too soon! Really highly recommended.Joseph Fisher

From gymnastics to touch rugby and now rock climbing; I have had a fair few injuries all rehabilitated with the help of various physiotherapists. I am so glad that I chose to see Kieran regarding this particular injury! Kieran immediately reassured me through his knowledge of sports injuries and ability to understand the mindset of an enthusiast. Being a visual learner, I found the 3D anatomical model on the computer helpful in understanding my injury and was impressed with the prompt follow up email containing videos demonstrating my exercises. The follow up video consultation was fantastic and efficient. I feel this is a great tool, particularly as I live far from the clinic. Now I am back climbing with no pain! Long may this continue... however, I would not hesitate to contact Kieran in future if I was to need further treatment.Rebecca Malynn

If it was possible I would give 10 stars to Eglantine. She literally put me back on my feet after a very painful end of pregnancy - and now I can even do dance classes again! She can read my body's pains and needs like no-one. Dont know what I would do without these sessions!Carla Di Falco
